Natural method for treatment of sea lice

Enwa has delivered fresh water to Nova Sea's full scale pilot plant at Teksmona in Meløy Municipality. Nova Sea has since 2011 worked with the project "Evig regn". The project aims to reduce infestation by lice in salmon farms using a "natural method", using fresh water to prevent the occurrence of sea lice.

The desalination plant comprises of 2 containers, one with pre-treatment and one with membrane system with pumps, motors and control in the other.

Exciting Project
